Child Trust Fund: Voucher Requirement

Parents are provided with a voucher in order to open a Child Trust Fund account.  The voucher must be provided to the account provider or distributor not later than 7 days after the expiry date on the voucher.

With effect from 6 April 2009, there will be no requirement for the voucher to be physically collected by providers or distributors; information shown on the voucher can instead be provided to them.
