Investors who withdrew monies from their Northern Rock
Individual Savings Account (ISA) between 13 and 19 September 2007 will be
allowed to reinvest these in a new ISA. This can be done between 18 October
2007 and 5 April 2008. Legislation will be introduced to allow this and to
provide that this re-investment will not count towards the investor’s annual
ISA subscription limit.
This measure was announced on 18
October 2007 and puts individuals back to the position they would have
been in had they not felt it necessary to withdraw monies from their
Northern Rock ISA.
