Aggregates Levy rates

Aggregates Levy increases from £1.95 per tonne to £2 per tonne with effect from 1 April 2009. This is only the second increase in the rate of the tax since its introduction in 2002, although it is significantly less than the increase of more than 20% which was introduced in Budget 2007.
